Gordon Elliott

A powerhouse of Irish jump racing, and the great rival to the Mullins yard.

Gordon Elliott trains at Cullentra House in County Meath and has long been one of the leading National Hunt trainers in Ireland, with a formidable record at the big festivals and a particular strength in staying chasers and handicappers.

Elliott's yard is one to follow closely in competitive Irish handicaps and staying chases, where his horses are often well prepared for a target. Alongside the Mullins string, his runners shape much of the top-level jumps form.
