Proofing
Registered before the off. Graded against the result.
Proofing is only meaningful if it can't be edited after the fact. Here's exactly how we record and settle every tip.
The loop, every day
- Register. Each morning the model's selections are written to a ledger with the price available — timestamped, before the race.
- Lock. Once a tip is registered it isn't edited or deleted. Losers stay on the record next to winners.
- Grade. After racing, each tip is settled automatically: placed or not, and whether the registered price beat the starting price (CLV).
- Report. Strike rate, return and CLV are computed straight from the ledger — with sample size and confidence intervals.
Why pre-off registration is the whole point
Anyone can post a winner after it's won. The only honest test is whether a selection and its price existed before the result was known. That's why our CLV figure is the headline: it can only be computed from a price that was logged ahead of time and compared to a public closing price.
Where we are right now
We're early — the public record is still small, so we won't dress it up as more than it is. As the sample grows we'll publish the full breakdown here, and we intend to add independent third-party verification so you never have to take our word for it.
