Irish Champions Weekend
Ireland's Flat championship finale — two days of top Group 1s across Leopardstown and the Curragh.
Irish Champions Weekend in September is the climax of the Irish Flat season: two days of championship racing split between Leopardstown and the Curragh, featuring some of the best middle-distance and mile contests in Europe. It regularly attracts the top British and French raiders and the form reads strongly into the autumn's biggest days.
The two tracks ask slightly different questions — Leopardstown a fair, galloping park course, the Curragh a wide, stiff, galloping test — but both reward genuine class and stamina. With elite yards and international runners in opposition, market signals and top-level form carry real weight across the weekend.
