Sha Tin is Hong Kong's championship track: a wide, galloping right-handed course with a long home straight, raced on both turf and an all-weather surface. The standard of racing is exceptionally high and the pools are deep and fiercely competitive, which is exactly why the closing market is so efficient — the money here is as sharp as anywhere in the world.
